Andrea Brunsendorf

An internationally trained horticulturist, Andrea Brunsendorf commenced her gardening journey with her grandparents in Germany. This foundational experience was followed by a traditional German apprenticeship and formal studies in botanical horticulture at the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew, in London. She subsequently attained a Master of Science in Nature Conservation from University College London (UCL).
Over the course of ten years, her horticultural training and academic pursuits were enriched by internships in South Africa, Botswana, Israel, and the United States. Upon graduation, she assumed leadership of the revitalization of the Inner Temple Gardens in Central London, a role she fulfilled for eleven years. Subsequently, she managed the 1,000 acres of outdoor landscapes at Longwood Gardens in Pennsylvania. Presently, she is engaged in the ongoing development of Lowther Castle & Garden, a unique horticultural initiative in the North of England.
