Catherine FitzGerald is a gardener and partner in Lutyens & FitzGerald Landscape Design. She has worked on restoring the gardens at Hillsborough Castle Co. Down, the re-imagined physic garden at Holyrood Palace in Edinburgh, the kitchen garden at Glenbevan Co. Limerick as well as the restored walled garden Glenarm Castle Co. Antrim, which has won the 2023 Historic Houses Garden of the Year award. She is currently working on a formal garden near Bushmills Co. Antrim, and on rewilding part of the Knoydart peninsula in Scotland. She continues to work on the gardens of her family home at Glin Castle, Co. Limerick which she has re-opened as a hospitality and events venue.
