Dominic West is a graduate of Trinity, Dublin where he met his future wife Catherine FitzGerald and acted in Lenny Abrahamson’s first film Three Joes.
He has since won three Golden Globe nominations for roles in The Crown, The Affair and The Hour; played Jimmy McNulty in The Wire and starred in Brassic, SAS Rogue Heroes, The Pursuit of Love, Les Miserables, Burton & Taylor and Appropriate Adult for which he won a BAFTA.His many films include Pride, The Square, Colette, 300, Rockstar, Chicago, 28 Days and Johnny English Reborn. And in theatre he has played at the Old Vic, the National Theatre and in the West End in Butley, Rock n Roll, As You Like It, Life is a Dream, Les Liaisons Dangereuses as well as the Argentinian circusDe La Guarda. He is currently starring in A View from the Bridge at The Haymarket in London and producing aTV series called Around the World in 80 Trees.During Lockdown he built a natural swimming pond with his friend and hero David Pagan Butler.
