Kate Gatacre has had multiple careers spanning from silver-smithing to field sports journalism, and came to growing vegetables from two perspectives: her work as a chef and having been brought up with gardening and home-grown vegetables. Hugely influenced by the kitchen garden of her childhood in the historic gardens of De Wiersse, in the Netherlands, she combines flowers, fruit and vegetables giving a hugely diverse and productive market garden. He is the Head Gardener at Linley Hall, Shropshire. Linley, now in its fourth season, uses no-dig methods, and prides itself on fantastic variety and flavoured vegetables, which it delivers to some of London’s most loved restaurants, including Rochelle Canteen, St John, Quality Chop House and more.
